'WAKF PROJECT CHEQUE SIGNING'

“On 13/04/2025, at the Malindi Orphans Academy Boardroom, Malindi Islamic Centre for Orphans (MICO) reached a historic milestone. All key stakeholders — Trustees, Management Committee, Governing Council, Delegates, School BOM, Religious Leaders, and the MICO Women Committee — came together to witness the signing of the KES 950,000 down payment cheque for the Wakf project land. A powerful show of unity and commitment to building a lasting legacy for the community. Alhamdulillah.”

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect and discuss ways to partner with One Ummah Foundation on development initiatives."

Strategic Plan Forum
On 26th January 2025 at Town Secondary School - Malindi. The organization held a one-day strategic plan forum involving all stakeholders, i.e., Trustees, Governing Council, Delegates, Management Committee, School Board of Management, and distinguished guest Dr. Abdulrahim - Lecturer Pwani University. The MICO Strategic Plan (2024-2029) provides a clear roadmap for the organization to empower orphans and achieve sustainability. Success will require collaboration, transparency, and effective implementation of the strategic plan
